I am anxiously awaiting this feature to be deployed in my environments. In the meantime, what I have been done is update the "Obi Data" column in the Agent Component (botcomponent) table. The YAML in Obi Data includes a path to the SharePoint file or folder. This table is not editable through the UI so I've used a Power Automate flow.

That's very interesting. Are you able to dynamically set the SPO knowledge source via variable by doing this?

Yes, you can set the OBI data column using YAML plus an environment variable. It’s a hacks little workaround.

This function is great but it doesn't work in some cases:
Example: Within a topic if I add a custom search and configure it to use the dynamic knowledge source the search will not yield expected results.
The same issue exists in generative answers within a topic.
The knowledge source works as expected if I use it directly of as part of the declarative instructions but not from within the topic using custom search or generative answers.
